The Truebright Science Academy (TSA) is a new college-preparatory charter school that will be providing education for 350 students from grades 7 to 12.

The mission of the Truebright Science Academy Charter School is to offer an educational model that will equip all students with the core skills necessary to be placed in the most prestigious colleges and universities, and to carry that success into the competitive career marketplace. TSA greatly emphasizes math, science and technology as its core curriculum, through hands-on activities, projects, and laboratory classes. Its first academic year will begin Fall 2007. For the first school year, TSA will be accepting 200 students for grades 7 to 9 only. One grade will be added each subsequent year, until grade 12 is reached.

The school is located in North Philadelphia and is close to the intersection of Route 1 and Broad street.
