Congratulations to our Science Olympiad Team again on a great job!

Science Olympiad is a national nonprofit organization devoted to improving the quality of science education, increasing interest in science and providing recognition for outstanding achievement in science education by both students and teachers.

This year's PA Central Region Science Olympiad Competition was sponsored by Millersville University of Pennsylvania and was held on Saturday, March 8, 2014. Truebright Science Academy Science Olympiad team was the only Urban Charter School computed against challenging teams and came back with a great result. Our Team participated in only 3 events and received 1st Place in "Rotor Egg Drop" , 4th Place Placed in "Wheeled Vehicle" and 4th Place in "Boomilever".

PSSA Math Saturday Review

Dear Parents,

Truebright Science Academy Charter School has started PSSA Math Saturday Review classes. Our students will have a chance to work with our teacher in a smaller group (3-4 students per instructor) and get individual attention that will lead them to become a successful student.

To sign up: Please contact your Math teacher. Tokens will be given to the students on Friday @ room#: 305. Saturday academy hours are from 9:30 am until 12:30 pm. Pizza will be provided for the lunch.

Science Fair

Seventh Annual School-Wide Science Fair was held on February 22, 2014. Students from 7 thru 9 th grades competed in two divisions (Middle School and High School). Congratulations to all the School-Wide Science Fair winners participants!

Talent Show

We would like to thank Amani Cunnigham, Imani Sampson, Keefe Lock-Sheed and Aaron Hamilton for doing a great job hosting the Truebright Talent Show. We want to congratulate all of the winners.

Trip To Museum of Mathematics

On January 29th, a group of 22 students, spanning from 7th-11th grades, journeyed from Philadelphia to Manhattan to enjoy the Museum of Mathematics. The museum is designed to be a hands-on engaging experience with mathematics concepts.
