Truebright Academy helps students go extra mile
There would have to be a compelling reason for students in the Truebright Science Academy Charter School to forsake their Saturdays. But for the seventh through eleventh graders in the school’s “Saturday Scholar” program, the good grades and extra tutelage are worth it.
“The real proof is my grades. Since I started coming to Saturday Academy, my math grades have improved, and I have a better grasp on what I am learning,” said Truebright junior Stephanie Norman. “I am particularly focused because I know the skills I am learning now will be important when I become a nurse.”

Thank you for your support in Truebright Science Academy. Due to limited space for the upcoming year, we ask each parent/guardian to fill out the attachment form completely and return it to the front office. This form is designed for currently enrolled students. The closing date for this application is March 16, 2012. Applications received unsigned, incomplete, or after the closing date may not be considered for next year.
The Re-enrollment forms will be mailed out this Friday,February 17,2012...You may also stop by our office to take another one or you may download it by clicking here. |

Philadelphia City Official's Visited Truebright on Thursday, February 9,2012. Truebright was visited Donna Bullock, an attorney and community and Economic Development Coordinator for Philadelphia Councilman Darrell Clarke. While at TSA-CS, Mrs. Bullock met with a group of students to discuss her career and their plans for future. Her visit served to both inspire students and give Truebright the opportunity to showcase the great strides our students are achieving.
